Running the race of salvation?

"No one has eternal life yet. While we are on this earth we are still running a race. No one wins the crown of life until they finish the race. Jesus said only those who endure to the end will be saved. Between initial salvation and final salvation there are times when a person is in danger if they were to die in unrepentant sin. Christians are described as a runner in a long distance race (Acts 20:24; 1 Cor. 9:24; Gal.5:7; 2 Tim. 4:7; Heb. 12:1" - sinless perfection heretic (youtube)

Act 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

1Co 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

Gal 5:7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
